About

Welcome.

Hi there. I believe that we all have inherent integrity, wisdom, and strengths. My job as a therapist is to provide you a safe place to explore what is getting in your way, to heal from hardships, and to align your life with your true, complex, and vibrant self. Together we will slow things down and nonjudgementally tune in to all that is going on in your brain and body. We will examine your experience with loving curiosity and compassion. I will act as a thought partner to you and strive to support all identities, cultures and genders that you embrace. My style is warm, compassionate, and gently probing.

I work with Oregon teens and adults managing anxiety, depression, perfectionism, neurodiversity (particularly adult ADHD), trauma histories, and mood regulation. I use a range of therapeutic approaches to meet client goals and styles of thinking. I use therapies that emphasize alignment with your core values such as Existential Humanistic Therapy, and ones that explore internal patterns and dialogues like Internal Family Systems. I also use behavioral approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to build skills and explore the reciprocal nature of behavior, thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. I am trained in EMDR to reprocess trauma, and often integrate art and mindfulness.

I draw on my previous careers as a teacher, coach to other teachers, and education director of a national project bringing arts into schools to revitalize learning. I am a Masters-level candidate holding a certificate to practice in Oregon as a Clinical Social Work Associate. I work under a board-approved clinical supervisor, pursuant to OAR-877-020-0012, at Mindful Therapy Group, P.C.
